A woman who has shunned the razor for a full ten years has candidly spoken about how her choice to let her body hair grow naturally has affected her romantic prospects.Zoe Zwetsloot, 31, has faced rejection from men who find her "too hairy" and insist she shave if she wants to be with them.
After an operation made shaving impossible, Zoe began to question why society dictates that women must be hair-free.Her decision has led to some uncomfortable situations, including awkward encounters while out dancing and invasive questions such as: "Does the carpet match the drapes? ".The Auckland-based mother-of-three even disclosed that her own dad sometimes avoids hugging her because of her body hair, and she's felt compelled to hide it during job interviews.
