The abhorrent attacks first started in 1994 when Trish was just six-years-old. The little girl was often left alone with her father, Gerard King, while her mum worked various jobs.
One morning, night-time security guard King called Trish from her Wilmslow bedroom and asked her to get into bed with him. After it was over, he made her swear on her mother’s life that she wouldn’t tell anyone what had happened.
