‘I expected it to be a fortnight’ Strictly’s Dan Walker can’t believe he is still on show

Dan Walker, 44, and Strictly Come Dancing partner Nadiya Bychkova, 32, have made it through to Week 10 on the show after performing the Charleston last weekend.The BBC Breakfast presenter only expected to be on the show a “fortnight”, however he cannot thank fans enough for the continued support.

In order for Dan to carry on doing his day job on BBC Breakfast, Nadiya has had to move to Sheffield in order for the pair to practise.

Speaking on The One Show about it, he said: “Nadia is obviously having to stay in Sheffield quite a bit away from her family. “So when she moved up there for the first part of each week we’ve been in. “I only expected it to be a fortnight but now it’s been 10 weeks.” The BBC presenter then told The One Show hosts.
