Pep Guardiola is doing everything he can to keep Erling Haaland positive as opponents do their best to mark him out of games.

Haaland broke a three-match barren streak in stunning fashion against Sparta Prague, scoring with a flying backheel volley in the second half before adding another ten minutes later to maintain his scoring rate of better than a goal a game in the Champions League.

The acrobatic effort was enough to remind people of the striker's ability to win the Ballon d'Or in his career - even if he is unlikely to win this year's prize when the winners are announced on Monday.
