La Liga boss Javier Tebas has stated that he "doesn't care" about Mason Greenwood's past and wants the Manchester United forward to remain in Spain beyond this season.

Greenwood, 22, faced charges of attempted rape and assault, but the Crown Prosecution Service discontinued the case in February 2023.

He subsequently joined Getafe on loan last summer. Tebas, speaking at the Financial Times Business of Football Summit, has now opened up about how impressed he has been by the youngster's performances so far this season.

He said: "He's doing really well at Getafe as a player and I hope he continues to be successful and he continues to stay in Spanish football because that's always good for us.
