This Valentine's Day, couples across the world will come together for romantic meals. For Frank and Judith Rothwell, their Valentine's 'slap-up meal' in Antigua will be a particularly special one.
That is because Oldham Athletic chairman Frank, 73, has spent the last two months away from Judith, rowing solo across the Atlantic, raising a quarter-of-a-million pounds to help find a cure for Alzheimer's.
Having already achieved the feat three years ago, setting a world record to become the oldest person to row the Atlantic solo and raising over £1million, Frank set about bettering his record in December.
This week, he will better his own world record, and he is set to reunite with his beloved wife of 53 years on Wednesday for one of their most emotional Valentine's Days to date.
