James 'Arg' Argent took part in this year's Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins but revealed by the end he "couldn't keep up" and "broke down in tears" following his exit. The former TOWIE star, 35 joined the gruelling SAS selection with the likes of Danielle Lloyd, Teddy Soares, Amber Turner, Gareth Gates and Matt Hancock, who he sparked up an unlikely friendship with.

After five days of intense challenges, constant jungle rain and interrogations from the SAS instructors, Arg left during the episode on Sunday, 22 October.

Speaking exclusively to OK! about his exit from the show Arg said: "I know in my heart that was the right time to leave because I had given it 110 per cent and I had nothing left, I was completely done. "I know I was done, physically and mentally.

And it got to a point where I was at the back, I just couldn't keep up and I had pushed myself to the very limit. "I got beasted and I was just a broken man, and I'll be honest with you, even all that I've been through I've never really cried or been a crier but I basically had a breakdown and I cried like I've never cried before, I broke down. "That was after my bag was given in and I went to the doctor just before I exited the camp and I literally broke down." The former TOWIE star went on to reveal that "trench foot and jungle rot played a huge part" in his departure which left him "barely being able to walk".
