Hunt for woman, 21, who vanished after being 'approached by a man' on night out

Police are desperately trying to trace a 21-year-old woman reported missing in Scotland after she failed to come home from a night out.

Lybi Halliday was last seen in Glasgow city centre at around 11.30pm on Friday. She was reported as missing the following morning.

Close friends say she was approached by a ‘man in a brown jacket’ in the Trongate area of the city before her disappearance, the Daily Record reports.

Police are now appealing for any key information that may lead to confirming her whereabouts. Lybi has been described as white, around 5ft 3ins tall, of slim build, and with long dark hair tied up in a ponytail.
