Police are hunting a taxi driver who tried to lure an 11-year-old schoolgirl into his car as she walked home. The cab pulled up alongside the child as she walked past Blythe Bridge train station in Uttoxeter Road at around 5.30pm on Tuesday (September 15).
The same driver, described as Asian with stubble and spiky black hair, allegedly approached the victim around an hour and 20 minutes earlier.
The terrified girl ran home according to her mother, who warned other parents on Facebook, StokeonTrent Live reports. She posted: "My daughter came in and said that a taxi asked her to get in his car. "He slowly drove up to her and she knew something was wrong.
