Hungary boss Marco Rossi is outdoing Scotland in the pessimism stakes as he dared anyone to bet "one Hungarian forint" on his side against Germany.The Magyars also made a losing start to their Euro 2024 Group A campaign, going down 3-1 to Switzerland in Cologne.
The Swiss dominated a first half that saw the Hungarians barely string any passes together, which will have given a watching Steve Clarke some comfort after his side suffered a chasing against the hosts the previous evening.However, Rossi's side improved after the break and the game was only over when Brees Embolo restored his team's two-goal advantage in stoppage time.
Scotland take on Switzerland on Wednesday night and a result will keep qualification hopes alive heading in to Sunday's showdown with Hungary.
