SCALPING have announced details of their debut album ‘Void’, as well as sharing a futuristic video for lead single ‘Flashforward’.The Bristol band, who were included in the NME 100 in 2021, are set to release the album on April 29 via Houndstooth.“We wrote this whole album without playing a single note of it together,” the band’s Alex Hill explained. “We produced all of the songs using the computer – as a blend of recordings and samples of our live drums, guitars and drum machines into production software – and then translated it all back into a live performance.“Although there are structured songs on the record, there’s no explicit focus on exactly recreating those songs live either. Abby Lee Miller is suing the Hampton Inn & Suites after an August 2020 incident in which the  alum claims a door fell on her in her hotel room.According to multiple reports, Miller, who has been in and out of a wheelchair since 2018 due to her battle with lymphoma, was staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Santa Monica when a door fell on her, nearly crushing her as she was attempting to wheel herself into the bathroom of her room.In Miller's suit, the former reality TV star claims she was leaving the bathroom when the back left wheel of her wheelchair got caught under the sliding bathroom door. When she attempted to free herself, Miller alleges the 300-pound-plus door came crashing down, pinning her wheelchair and leaving her trapped in the doorway for six to 12 minutes.Miller went on to allege that she screamed for help until two staff members at the hotel came to her aid.

Abby Lee Miller is suing Hampton Inn & Suites over an August 2020 incident in Santa Monica, California, in which she says she was injured after being struck by a falling door at the hotel.The 56-year-old reality star, according to legal docs reviewed by TMZ, is asking for a minimum of $8.5 million over claims of negligence, discrimination emotional distress, and false imprisonment in connection with the incident.The Dance Moms personality has been using a wheelchair the past four years amid a bout with lymphoma. She had stayed at the hotel from March of 2020 until October of that year.
