Kay Burley is rumoured to be wrapping up her time on Sky News' breakfast show after a notable five-year run - with her final stint reportedly happening any day now.TV insiders have hinted at the possibility of Kay completely leaving Sky, however there are murmurs of a network reshuffle which could see her remain in some capacity, the Mirror has reported.

Having been a familiar face on Sky News since its beginning in 1989, the seasoned journalist, 63, stepped up to take charge of the breakfast slot in October 2019.

Her illustrious broadcasting career has seen her lead coverage of dramatic global events including Princess Diana's untimely death and the chilling 9/11 terrorist attacks.

OK! has reached out for comment to representatives for Kay Burley and Sky News. Just one month ago, Kay took to X, lounging on an opulent blue sofa as she shared a reflective moment with a picture captioned: "Thirty six years today @skynews and counting.." This trip down memory lane came amidst fans' concerns after she had been off-air throughout the summer - however, Kay made her return towards the end of August.
