HER mum was on EastEnders only last year – and now Emily Atack’s auntie has landed a role in Coronation Street. Amy Robbins — younger sister of Emily’s mum, Kate Robbins — will make her debut on the Cobbles of Weatherfield in January.
She’s to appear as Christine, the mother of Rovers Return pint-puller Daisy Midgeley, played by Charlotte Jordan. A soap insider said: “Christine’s arrival will shake things up. “It’s a great part and one Amy could not turn down. “Being able to star in Coronation Street is a huge deal for any actor or actress in the industry.
