The pop-up site at Essa Academy, in Great Lever, has been set up to try and combat the B.1.617.2 strain of coronavirus - often referred to as the Indian variant.
First doses of the Pfizer vaccine are currently being offered to eligible people living, working, or studying in Bolton. In a video on Facebook, the senior responsible officer for the vaccination programme in Bolton, Dr Helen Wall told people to attend even if they are 'not sure' whether they would be eligible.
