A crowd of revellers were caught on camera hugging and dancing in the street in one of the UK's worst-hit cities by coronavirus.
The partygoers were filmed in Newcastle-upon-Tyne spilling into the street just before the 10pm curfew kicked in. People were seen pouring out of Grey's Club in Newcastle and into the street.
Some in the crowd jump and wave their mobile phones in the air as the coronavirus curfew approaches. Last week, the North East reported its highest rate of Covid-19 fatalities since June, while the infection rate per 100,000 in the region hit 1,462 - the second highest in England.
