Britons heading abroad will no longer have to worry about many of the travel rules and regulations, as a number of rules have now been scrapped for UK travellers.
Up until now, there were multiple different procedures in place for those wishing to fly to a different country, including mandatory covid tests, and various different forms.
Earlier this week, transport secretary Grant Shapps confirmed that the government were planning to scrap all remaining covid travel measures, and wrote on Twitter: "These changes are possible due to our vaccine rollout and mean greater freedom in time for Easter." As of 4am on Friday 18 March, the travel rules have been scrapped.
