Thirsty punters have been spending big as pubs across the UK reopen after months of lockdown. Things have been no different in Ireland, it seems, after four women forked out an astonish sum for a long-awaited girl's night out.
The gang met up in The Old Mill pub, in Tallaght, Dublin, where they munched on on steaks, goujons, chicken wings and chips.
And after catching up over a bottle of wine and a few gins, someone had the idea of getting in a round of shots for the table.
After 23 shots, 10 Red Bulls, three Beefeater gins and a bottle of wine all in 105 minutes, the gang were left to fork out a bill for €265 (£239) which was split between the foursome.
