Vincent Kompany wiped away a Manchester derby regret in guiding Burnley to the Championship title on Tuesday night. The Clarets won the league at the home of fierce rivals Blackburn Rovers, landing City legend Kompany his first silverware as a manager.
Manuel Benson's second half goal proved to be the difference as Burnley got the win they needed to confirm the second tier crown.
For Kompany, it was a scene he missed out on as a player when City blew the chance to win the 2018 Premier League title at the Etihad against United.
