Clean energy firm ScottishPower is paying tribute to the businesses helping spearhead the UK’s green energy transition.A prestigious awards ceremony in Glasgow next week will recognise the companies working with ScottishPower to deliver a better future quicker as it doubles is investment in critical energy infrastructure.

ScottishPower announced in October it was investing £24billion between 2024 and 2028 – up from its original £12billion plan – as it accelerates to match the UK’s significant power demand and growth.It has already invested £30billion in the UK over the past 15 years, building clean, green and homegrown renewable power and the electricity networks to transport it.

As the UK’s first energy company to generate 100% green electricity – and the only integrated energy company in the UK – ScottishPower is at the heart of the country’s energy industry.

It works with a range of business partners from Caithness to Cornwall that help it deliver the vital energy projects the UK needs for the future.
