After a 100-day gap, it's back. Football returns to our TV screens on Wednesday tea-time and there's even better news - not everyone will need a satellite TV subscription to watch.

Four of the first 11 fixtures to be televised will be free to air - and there will be plenty more to follow. Here's your TV guide to what's on and when and how you can watch it - sometimes for free.

What's on first? Football returns with a match which could have significance at both ends of the table. Aston Villa entertain Sheffield United knowing a win will see them climb out of the bottom three, while the visitors know victory will elevate them into a Champions League spot.
