Manchester United will look to make it three wins in as many pre-season friendlies on Tuesday when they take on Crystal Palace in Australia.
They’ve scored eight goals in two games and conceded just once, sweeping aside Liverpool and Melbourne Victory. Erik ten Hag is expected to produce the goods once again but will use the opportunity to offer more minutes to a number of youngsters and fringe players.
Among those who have impressed so far are Jadon Sancho, Zidane Iqbal and Charlie Savage. Sancho is backed to do well under his new boss next season and has made his mark as the team’s top performer so far this summer. Both have threaded eye-catching passes and produced intricate play during their outings. Palace are set to be a sterner test than a much-changed Liverpool and A-League Melbourne, so fans could see Ten Hag field another strong starting XI.
