Succession, Ted Lasso and The White Lotus were the victors in their respective drama, comedy and limited categories at this year’s Emmy Awards.
In total, the trio bagged 12 awards at Monday’s ceremony, including the big prize in their respective fields. Success well and truly arrived for Succession, who won five three awards: its second Outstanding Drama Series, Matthew Macfayden for Supporting Actor and creator Jesse Armstrong for writing.
Ted Lasso secured four trophies, including its second straight Outstanding Comedy Series, a directing award for MJ Delaney and acting nods for Brett Goldstein and Jason Sudeikis.
The White Lotus went one better by claiming five Emmys, with creator Mike White triumphing in writing and directing, Jennifer Coolidge and Murray Bartlett winning acting trophies and the show as a whole winning the Outstanding Limited Series award.
