Diabetes, dementia, and cancer are three parts of a wide gamut of health conditions which can affect the body, albeit in different ways.
Diabetes affects how the body manages blood sugar and glucose, while cancer is the mutation of cells that spread to other parts of the body.
Dementia is the odd one out in respect of this trio in that it cannot be cured and not slowed down to the same degree as either diabetes or some forms of cancer.
However, what they all have in common is that they can be prevented or at least people can increase their chances of avoiding them, and all through the same means.
