The Government is handing out free bike repair vouchers in a bid to get more people out of their cars and onto their bikes. Worth £50 each, that's enough for a service at most shops - as well as a bit more to cover a new part or two.
It won't stretch to extensive repairs or parts, however, but should mean tyres, brakes and gears checked out properly and adjusted where needed.
Cycle training will also be made available for every child and adult who wants it, accessible through schools, local authorities or direct from cycle training schemes.
