The cost of living crisis has forced many people to tighten their belts, especially students. Fortunately, there is a wide range of support available to them, including extra cash from the government in the form of cost of living payments.
The payments make up a government support scheme that sees people receiving means-tested benefits get up to £900 in 2023/24, with the first payment of £301 going out during the summer.
