How Prince Archie will spend ‘low-key’ birthday celebrations as Prince Harry jets home
ok.co.ukWhile the nation is celebrating King Charles' Coronation, there will be another big bash happening across the pond. Prince Harry's wife Meghan Markle skipped the Coronation and stayed in California, where the couple live with their two young children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
As the historic event falls on Archie's fourth birthday, this is believed to have been a factor in 41 year old Meghan's choice not to attend.
Meghan is likely to throw a low-key affair for her eldest child at their sprawling Montecito mansion, with some of their closest family and friends, as well as some of Archie's pals from pre-school.
Harry, 38, is thought to have snubbed an invitation to lunch at Buckingham Palace, which was held following the coronation ceremony, instead opting to fly back to his home in California.
