This wasn’t limited to the more obvious elements of her Nineties style either. Searches for rectangular sunglasses were up by 25 percent and temporary tattoos by 14 percent.If you’re wondering who on earth is shopping for this stuff, well, for many people today it’s not as outré as you think.
At a time when women in their late 50s are celebrated for wearing ‘naked’ dresses on the red carpet, a bust-boosting leather corset is child’s play - and taps into the Bridgerton-inspired ‘Regencycore’ trend too.
Not to mention the fact that cleavage is back in style as well (see: Adele on the November 2021 issue of British Vogue).We can also glean a broader message from the rise of Pamcore, and it’s that fashion has never been a more inclusive space.
