Oasis are back next summer as the band head out on their first tour in 16 years. The band will play shows at venues across the UK and Ireland throughout August and July.

Liam and and Noel Gallagher confirmed the band would be reforming earlier this week with 17 gigs so far announced in Manchester, London, Edinburgh, Cardiff and Dublin.

Further dates are expected to be announced, including shows outside Europe. The brothers will start the tour at Carfiff's Principality Stadium and also play five nights in Heaton Park.

They will then play five shows at London’s Wembley Stadium and dates in Edinburgh and Dublin. Tickets set to go on sale at 9am on Saturday (August 31) with standard seating and standing tickets ranging from £65 to £185.
