Fans of period drama will be pleased to find out that series two of the Emmy-nominated series Bridgerton, from creator Chris Van Dusen and legendary producer Shonda Rhimes (Grey's Anatomy and Scandal), will be available on Netflix soon.
The show proved a tremendous hit with audiences around the globe, earning a 7.3/10 rating on IMDB and praise from many critics.
Widely seen as Netflix's answer to traditional British dramas like Downton Abbey and Pride and Prejudice, Ed Cumming of The Independent gave the first season 4/5 stars and described it as "A shiny little stocking filler" for "the exhausted, depressed, locked-down Christmas viewer" (the first series was released on 25 December 2020).
