How King Charles deals with royal rivalry after being 'hurt' by Diana

Despite being the Head of State, it was recently claimed that King Charles came to an arrangement with the Prince of Wales to "gain back control" after the younger couple's popularity continues to go from strength to strength.

It was said that the father and son duo had come up with a deal to rebalance the scales in terms of the public's perception, with the Daily Express reporting that the monarch is concerned that the spotlight is being shifted to Prince William and Kate.

Regardless of the reports, former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond does not believe the King would have organised a meeting to discuss the subject with his heir.
