An amazing collection of photos captured the early days of the Tay Road Bridge. The images were unearthed from the Dundee City Archive and show exactly how the crossing was built in the 1960s.

The mixture of black and white and colour pictures show the actual construction itself and how the Dundee end of the bridge was developed to accommodate the new road layout.
