EastEnders' Chantelle Atkins met a tragic end in Friday's show as her husband Gray pushed her into the dishwasher and it cracked.

She landed on the shattered debris and bled out on the floor in agony, and Gray watched her without calling an ambulance for help.

He picked up the phone and dialled 999, but then he noticed incriminating evidence, and as a lawyer, he knew he would be suspected.

He then staged the scene to make it appear as if Chantelle had slipped on her children's toy truck, and he had discovered her body too late.
