He was found dead by John Paul Jones and Led Zeppelin tour manager Benji LeFevre at Jimmy Page’s house in Clewer, Windsor.On the day prior to his death, Bonham was drinking heavily during rehearsals.

After the band retired to Page’s house, Bonham fell asleep after midnight and was taken to bed and placed on his side. His body was found unresponsive at 1.45pm the next day.An inquest into Bonham’s death found he had vomited and choked, with his death ruled as accidental.
