Alton Towers has given visitors an insight as to how the theme park will look when it reopens on Saturday. The popular tourist attraction will open its doors on July 4 for the first time in more than three months as lockdown measures ease in England.

Pictures taken from inside the park show guests will have a completely different experience. Like zoos, anyone wanting to visit Alton Towers will have to pre-book for entry, with the park opening at limited capacity.

Queues will be spaced out to ensure people are social distancing, and face masks will be compulsory for anyone over the age of six on certain rides, including Nemesis, Galactica, Oblivion, The Smiler, Wicker Man, Rita, TH13TEEN and Runaway Mine Train.
