How a drug dealer was caught after she broke a harassment order

A woman's breach of an harassment order led to her being jailed for dealing class A drugs. Abigail Wright appeared at Chester Crown Court where she was sentenced to four years and two-months in prison.

The 35-year-old of Mill Street, Congleton, had earlier pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs, crack cocaine and heroin, and the breach of a Protection Order. While in custody officers from Cheshire’s Operation Apollo County Lines Team ascertained a phone number, believed to be Wright’s, had frequently been seen in incidents relating to the distribution of Class A cocaine and heroin in Congleton.

In a statement Cheshire Constabulary said: "Following the discovery, officers conducted a warrant at Wright’s home address on Mill Street, Congleton, where a quantity of illegal drugs and drug-related paraphernalia, along with a list of buyers and sellers, was seized. "Wright was subsequently charged and remanded at Chester Crown Court where she pleaded guilty to two counts of concern to supply Class A drugs.
