While 'Census Day' on March 21 has been and gone, the official closing date for the online form is Monday, May 24. The mandatory questionnaire takes place once every 10 years to give a picture of all the people and households living in England and Wales.
The Census helps organisations make decisions on planning and funding public services, including transport, education and healthcare.
According to the Office for National Statistics (ONS), a total of 97 per cent of households across England and Wales have already taken part in the census.
