Housebuilder to donate £4000 to Lanarkshire village Trust as part of first phase of new development

A housebuilder has teamed up with a local organisation to donate £25 for each home sold and legally completed within the first phase of its development in a Lanarkshire village.Taylor Wimpey West Scotland will pay a grand total of £4025 to Glenboig Development Trust as the funding accounts for 161 properties at its Meadowside development.The four-figure donation follows other support Taylor Wimpey West Scotland has given to the Trust over the past 18 months including donations of soil for the community garden, helping its annual children’s Christmas party and the supply of tree saplings to form part of the Queen’s Green Canopy project.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
