Four children and two adults have been rushed to hospital following a house fire in Moray. The alarm was raised shortly after 8am on Thursday, January 19 when officers were alerted to a property having gone up in flames in on Twinning Links in the town of Forres.
Emergency services, including eight fire engines and special resources from Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, raced to the scene in a bid to control the blaze.
They remain on site this afternoon and the area has been locked down.Two adults and four children were taken to hospital as a “precaution” but their ages and genders as well as their current conditions are not yet known.Photos taken at the address show the charred, blackened home having succumbed to the intense heat of the fire.
The smoke damage stretches from the front door of the property to the first floor windows, which have smashed.In another image, the roof seems to have been partially destroyed and there are gaping holes in the brickwork.
