Those enjoying basking in blazing sun and hot temperatures today, Easter Sunday, will see clouds form overhead and the temperatures drop again for bank holiday Monday (April 18).

The average temperature across Greater Manchester will peak at a measger 12 degrees on Monday following a weekend of soaring temperatures.

The Easter weekend warm spell continued throughout today (Sunday) with temperatures topping around 20C across Manchester. Sunny spells continued throughout the day however into the evening, skies are set to turn overcast and there is a chance of precipitation.

According to the Met Office, there is a chance of light rain late on Sunday evening, into the early hours of Monday. Their website states the region is likely to see some "light and patchy" outbreaks of rain overnight and into Monday morning.
