Greater Manchester is waking up to downpours with the region hit by a Met Office weather warning. A yellow warning for rain came into effect at 9pm yesterday and runs until 8pm tonight (October 10).
And the morning's weather is certainly living up to expectations. Heavy rain has battered the region so far this morning, and forecasters are expecting it to continue for a few hours.
Drivers are warned to expect difficult driving conditions while the rain pours, while some flooding is possible in areas covered by the warning, according to the Met Office.
