A man being treated in hospital who set his bed on fire by smoking while wearing an oxygen mask has been jailed.Almost £50,000 worth of damage was caused after Lee Williams, 44, decided to light up a cigarette.He had already been repeatedly warned by nurses after being found smoking in his hospital bed during his two-week stay.Several people had to be evacuated from the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff.

WalesLive reports. Prosecuting, Andrew Kendall said in May 2019 Williams was an inpatient at the hospital and had been there for two weeks before the incident.
