Horror shooting leaves girl, 9, fighting for her life and three in hospital

A nine-year-old girl is fighting for her life in hospital after a horror drive-by shooting near a restaurant where three men were also injured.The child, who was inside the restaurant having dinner with her family, is in critical condition, Chief Superintendent James Conway said during a media briefing near the scene on May 30.The three men, aged 26, 37 and 42, who were sitting outside the restaurant, were taken to hospital for treatment where their conditions are stable, although one potentially faces life-changing injuries.

The four victims were taken to an east London hospital with “gunshot injuries” after emergency services were called to the scene at around 9.20pm on Wednesday with specialist firearms officers attending, reports the Mirror.DCS Conway said: "It saddens me deeply to say that at 9.20 last night, on Kingsland High Street in Hackney, three men and a nine-year-old girl were shot when a firearm was discharged from a motorbike."I know that local people will be extremely concerned by this incident.
