Horror by the seaside as seagull 'stamped to death' in Blackpool, and RSPCA issue appeal

The RSPCA has issued an appeal for information after a seagull was allegedly stamped to death in Blackpool. The charity is appealing for information following an incident on Tuesday (December 17).

They believe an individual pictured on CCTV may be able to help their investigation into the incident. Lancs Live reports a gull died when it was repeatedly stamped on in the seaside town.

An individual was allegedly seen kicking out at a group of gulls in the Springfield Road area of the town at 12.17pm. It is believed one of the birds became caught under an individual's foot before it was stamped on three times.
