Glasgow bin to see rats scurrying from underneath. The footage taken in the east end of the city was circulated by the GMB union this morning showing the situation staff are met with when collecting rubbish for disposal.

A man in hi-viz clothes pulls the large, black communal bin forward showing rats scurrying from hiding underneath. The wheels of the bin crushes one of the animals underneath which lies twitching on the ground.Multiple rodents can be seen scattering across the street fleeing for cover.A man in the video can be heard saying 'they came out of that bin'.The GMB post the video to make demand that council bosses increase collection levels and staff numbers.It read:"A waste crisis within a public health crisis."Stop three- weekly.
