Hopey Price got his education at the school of boxing. The 20-year-old featherweight dropped out of school before reaching his teens but was given his grounding in the gym by his dad.
He went on to have a glittering amateur career, becoming Britain’s first ever Youth Olympic gold medalist in 2018, before opting against a senior Olympic pursuit to turn professional at 18. “I was born into boxing,” he says. “Ever since I was 18 months old I knew every shot in the book. “My dad was an amateur trainer, so I trained from literally no age and I’ve been boxing my entire life. “At 11 or 12 I stopped going to school and my school was boxing.
