Martin Roberts reached out to his fans for support as he braved the freezing cold weather to sleep rough on the streets. The Homes Under The Hammer presenter and former I'm A Celeb star, 61, called on his followers for encouragement as he embarked on his charity battle - which he took on despite catching pneumonia the last time he did it.
He said: "So tonight I'm going to spend a fairly uncomfortable few hours experiencing sleeping rough. I've got a sleeping bag and all other sorts of bits and pieces to try and make it slightly better.
But at the end of the day, I know how hard this is going to be. It's freezing cold. It's November. It's terrible." The star added: "But it's all to raise awareness for the homeless.
I get the choice every once and a while but there are people that don't have that choice," reports the Express. The presenter has so far raised £810 of his £1,000 target and has been diligently thanking every person who chips in to the cause.
