Miranda Blackman was at work when she received a call telling her a vehicle had reversed up her drive and straight into her Saddleworth dormer bungalow.
The Fiat had left a huge crack in the brickwork at the front of her property - which builders have told her will cost around £15,000 to fix.
A section of the wall - attached to a gatepost - also appears to have come partly-detached from the house. She later discovered the elderly driver was unaware her insurance had expired two weeks before the crash on Lichfield Close, Denshaw.
