‘Home Team’ Comedy Starring Eric Stonestreet In Works At Prime Video From Austin Winsberg, Jason Belleville & Peyton Manning
deadline.comEXCLUSIVE: In a competitive situation, Prime Video has landed Home Team, a half-hour single-camera comedy starring and executive produced by Modern Family Emmy winner Eric Stonestreet.
The project hails from Austin Winsberg‘s Zihuatanejo Productions, Peyton Manning‘s Omaha Productions, The Tannenbaum Company, Lionsgate Television — where The Tannenbaum Co.
and Zihuatanejo are based — and Amazon MGM Studios. Written by Jason Belleville based on a story by him and Winsberg, Home Team is described as a comedy with a big heart and a love letter to father-son relationships.
It follows now-stuck Scott Hansen (Stonestreet) as he moves his dad into a retirement community, begins to get his life back on track in a new workplace and starts to learn how to finally live in the moment from folks who have a lot fewer moments left.
