Animal welfare experts are appealing for a home for Ted, a friendly one-year-old Shar-Pei currently staying at Dogs Trust West Calder. His carers say Ted is a bouncy boy who loves to play, whether enjoying a game of tug or snuggling with soft toys.A spokeswoman for Dogs Trust said: “He is a sociable boy who is happiest when in the company of his owners.“He can’t resist a fuss and getting a gentle brush, leaning into his human friends for more attention.“Ted can be wary of new people, but quickly makes friends with a biscuit or two.

A real foodie, he will eat any treat on offer and loves dinner time.“Ted is still young and is looking for a forever family who will continue his training and keep growing his confidence at his pace.“He is unsure of other dogs and would prefer to be the only pet in the home.

An energetic boy, he would like his own garden to zoom around and play games of fetch in with his new family.”If you think you could provide a home for Ted or any of the 50 dogs currently available for rehoming, please contact the West Calder Rehoming Centre on 01506 873459.
