Dieter Brummer's friends say he had struggled to adjust to life after fame. The actor, who rose to fame in the 1990s on Aussie soap Home and Away as Shane Parrish, was tragically found dead at his home on Saturday, aged just 45.
His heartbroken friends have since spoken out to say that he "wasn't going to be on this earth for long" as he had become increasingly withdrawn as his acting career came to an end.
Sources close to the star describe him as having a troubled life and say they always "just got the impression" that he would die young, and that he really struggled when the window cleaning business he owned went under.
